Did we mention that all our schools are unique?

We believe in providing tailored support for every school in our Trust. Our school improvement model ensures that schools receive the right level of help based on their unique needs. Whether a school is excelling or facing challenges, our approach is designed to help them thrive through collaboration, targeted interventions and ongoing accountability.

Empowered Headteachers using aligned resources represents our approach to school improvement.

With the right support and guidance, schools lead their own improvement journeys. Each begins with a self-evaluation, shared with the Trust to identify key priorities. Schools then plan focused ‘sprints’ to address these areas, with the Trust ensuring plans are both ambitious and achievable.

This process is underpinned by a tiered approach - offering autonomy to schools that are performing well, while providing targeted, hands-on support to those facing greater challenges. It ensures every school receives the right level of input to thrive.

Accountability and Evaluation

Accountability is at the heart of our school improvement process. The Trust Board meets regularly to monitor the overall performance of our schools, ensuring that targets are met and schools are being supported appropriately. Local Governing Boards play a critical role by overseeing the operations and educational elements at school level, contributing to the school's improvement whilst keeping the Trust informed through shared meeting minutes.
