The Salters’ Institute is one of the UK’s leading educational charities focused on promoting excellence in chemistry and related sciences, championing high quality teaching, technical expertise and opportunities for young people.
Representatives from the school recently attended the Salters’ annual awards ceremony at Salters’ Hall in London to collect their award. They received a certificate and commemorative programme, heard from a keynote speaker and met other award recipients and members of the Salters’ community. The event also gave the school the chance to learn more about the Institute’s alumni network. As part of the award, Tapton School received £500 to support the science department.
